Hey guys, just searching the Ascent forums and came across your post, I thought I would check it out. I can see you guys have already started and completed quite a few scripts already, and are fairly new. I have actually used some of the scripts for the server I dev on and they seem to work so far.
Anyways, I would like to apply as a scripter, I am very interested in this idea. I have been scripting Lua for about 6 months now and know it like the back of my hand. I can easily write a scripts for mobs, object, quests, but have ever really tried scripting a whole area. I guess it's not much different, just the quests and mobs. I have played retail for about 3 years, and I have a 70 and 62 so I know a lot of the game mechanics. I can see you guys aren't very heavily populated yet, but you're doing a great job so far. I tried looking at the Lua++ project, but they haven't really done as much as you guys have and they're getting lazy about it.
So, if you want any proof about my talent, I would be happy to script an area for you, I was actually looking at doing the Ghostlands first. Thanks.
